Minor Internet Celebs raising money the Stalked way
A stranger offered Frank James a $200 donation to a charity of her choice in exchange for cooking a vegetarian dinner for the stranger and a guest.
pretty great!

My friend, who had just returned from being stranded on a desert island, was eating radishes with blue cheese.
“Radishes?” I asked.
“Hell yes”, he said, and after I tried some, I can also report, “hell yes.”
Radishes, I owe you an apology for my vegetable based bigotry. Is that “vegetabigotry?”
a friend made me some yummy food, I celebrated by getting completely wasted.
hell yes!
I feel like a million bucks, if a million bucks feels completely neurotic, stiff, and cranked up.
Also I went to the gym, meditated, and had an awesome burrito.
i am apparently a fucking hippy.
After the party last night, it was great to meet with some friends this morning to eat yummie breakfast (brussel sprouts scramble!) and do the crossword.
The rest of the day was all doing art.
took the morning off and relaxed in the sun, drinking french-press stumptown and eating yummie breakfast burritos. Later the view of Mt. Hood was amazing. I wished I had my camera, then decided it was good that I didn’t.
Bought a loaf of Dave’s Killer Bread, some avocados, and black beans, had some good talk with a friend, and realized a few things about people. Also, made a plan to start meditating soon.
My friend made me some yummy soup with Dave’s Killer Bread and some French butter that costs $5 a stick. It was sinful.
also, also, also:
got all sweaty at Tittsworth, (though DJ Beyonda blew him out). The good things about this were:
1. Dancing is fun
2. Making new friends is fun
3. Holocene has about the best staff ever. Serio.
Are you in Portland?
Are you living this shit!?
It’s the most beautiful day of the year yet. I don’t think I’m jinxing anything by saying that Spring is on(!) in the PDX. Today feels almost like Summer. I took a long lunch to eat a sandwich and salad outside, then took a long walk along a field and listened to the little critters getting startled in the brush. I imagined the narrator from Planet Earth saying, “here too, there is life.” Then, reluctant to go inside, I basked out in the sun for another 20 minutes looking at the blue, cloudless sky and purring on all the light and warmth, and the perfect breeze. In the winter I sometimes curse myself for ever leaving So Cal, but when I can feel the fever starting to burn inside my heart like this I am reminded of the power of seasons, of balance, and of contrast.
Growing up in So Cal is like being raised rich, living in the NW is like struggling and then getting an inheritance from a great ant you never new about.
lovin’ it.
Hung out with one of my best friends and had a quiet, wonderful night eating bratwurst*, drinking whiskey, talking the good talks, and watching Planet Earth.
*(Don’t worry, we’re still under 150)
