Papergirl rode through Portland yesterday, delivering over 200 pieces of art to random people on the streets.
It was a really fun and amazing event.
A big thanks to all the artists who donated, to all the paper girls and boys, to the documenters, and to Portland for being absolutely lovely yesterday.
More documentation is to come, so stay tuned!

I participated in Ryan Scammell’s “Beneath the Surface” piece, a piece about flooding, water, memories, and the past. I highly suggest listening to it and to his other work over at Phonography. Ryan used to intern at Radiolab, and his editing reflects that standard of excellence.

Here is the Powerpoint I used for the presentation, feel free to view it and to share it.
(I am working on getting my notes added, and possibly uploading the audio from the presentation)
“If the GEO600 result is what I suspect it is, then we are all living in a giant cosmic hologram.” If you can explain this theory to me, let me know. I need some ’splainin. Let me buy you lunch or something. Can 2-D holographic lunch taste good? Was Trans-X right all along? […]
